About the Event
In the lead up to World Environment Day, Visy and our Industrial Landcare partners invite you to join us for a special community planting event at Gibson Island, Murarrie.
The Gibson Island Industrial Landcare Project is a powerful example of what can be achieved when industry and community come together for conservation. This project demonstrates that industrial areas can also support valuable habitats and function as important ecological corridors.
Come along and be part of this collaborative effort to restore and enhance this unique site.
What to Bring
• Sun-smart clothing (hat, long sleeves recommended)
• Closed-in shoes
• Reusable water bottle
