Ghostwriter Steve Schecter melds influences from country-blues to gospel and rockabilly wielding a guitar and homemade foot-percussion device, creating a unique, lyrical, and driven, portrait of American-roots beyond the existing frontier. Born in the ghost town of Friend, OR, and based in Austin, Texas, Ghostwriter Steve Schecter has opened for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and T-Model Ford, toured alongside Dex Romweber (Flat Duo Jets), Bloodshot Bill, and Legendary Shack Shakers, and released ten albums on his own End of the West label.
