Paranormal Activity
Ripon Workhouse dates back to the 1700's and was home to the destitute and homeless. The workhouse was the last resort and was a terrible place to live, those that entered the gates were well aware that they may never come out of here alive.
Families admitted to the workhouse were separated and children as young as 7 were expected to live alone and fend for themselves sleeping in separate dormitories and eating meals apart. It was a grim existence and all those abiding in the workhouse were subject to strict routines.
A horrific existence for those that were unfortunate to have to live there although some have not left...come with us to find out which have stayed at the workhouse and want to talk with us and tell us their story.
