Plongez dans l’univers enchanteur des films du Studio Ghibli grâce à un concert de piano interprété par la pianiste Kanae Nobori et ses jeunes élèves.
(Re)découvrez les magnifiques mélodies des films de Hayao Miyazaki (Mon voisin Totoro, Kiki la petite sorcière, Le Voyage de Chihiro et bien d’autres), composées par Joe Hisaishi, et revisitées en arrangements pour 4 à 6 mains !
✨ Le concert sera précédé par un concours de cosplay Ghibli — venez costumés en vos personnages favoris !
KANAE NOBORI
Pianiste classique et professeure de piano née à Nara, au Japon, Kanae vit à Montréal depuis 2004. Diplômée d’une maîtrise et d’un DESS en interprétation de piano à l’Université de Montréal, elle mène depuis plus de 20 ans une carrière de pianiste de concert, notamment en musique de chambre, au Canada, aux États-Unis et au Japon.
Active dans la communauté artistique montréalaise, elle a organisé plusieurs concerts-bénéfices et se produit régulièrement en concert. Elle fait rayonner la musique de Ghibli au festival YATAI depuis plusieurs années et enseigne le piano avec passion, tant en privé que dans une école de musique Vincent d’Indy à Montréal.

Step into the magical world of Studio Ghibli with a special piano concert performed by pianist Kanae Nobori and her talented students.
Enjoy the beloved melodies from Hayao Miyazaki’s films (My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and more), composed by Joe Hisaishi, and arranged for 4 to 6 hands on the piano!
✨ The concert will be preceded by a Ghibli cosplay contest — come dressed as your favorite characters!
KANAE NOBORI
A classical pianist and piano teacher originally from Nara, Japan, Kanae Nobori moved to Montreal in 2004, where she completed her Master's and DESS in Piano Performance at the Université de Montréal.
Since 2000, she has pursued an active career as a concert pianist, particularly in chamber music, collaborating with numerous musicians across Canada, the U.S., and Japan. She has organized benefit concerts in Montreal (2011–2013) and has performed in many local events.
Kanae has been sharing the magic of Ghibli melodies on piano at the YATAI festival for several years. She is a passionate piano teacher, offering private lessons and teaching at a music school in Montreal.
