GHG Accounting Training

This full-day training session, organized by ECO Canada, is designed to provide professionals with a comprehensive and practical understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) calculation and management.

The program supports organizations in strengthening their capacity to measure, track, and reduce emissions in alignment with ESG requirements and Net Zero objectives. Participants will develop a strong foundation in GHG accounting, including the classification and calculation of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. The training emphasizes real-world application through hands-on exercises focused on data collection, emission factor selection, carbon footprint calculation, and emissions tracking and reporting.

The program also addresses emission reduction target-setting methodologies and the development of decarbonization strategies, including mitigation measures, sector-specific pathways, and an overview of Net Zero principles.
