Getting Up From The Floor: Face Everything and Rise!
Join us for an empowering workshop designed to help you build confidence and strength in getting up from the floor—an essential skill for independence and mobility at any age! This hands-on session will guide you through five steps to increasing confidence with getting up from the floor,” focusing on practical strategies, mobility, and strength-building exercises.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to get comfortable with getting on and off the floor
- Key movements necessary for getting up safely
- Mobility drills that provide support for planning your movements
- Strategies to safely rise from the floor and measure your progress
- Strength exercises to make getting up easier
- Core breathing techniques for stability and control
Virtual option:
A virtual option + recording is available! Zoom link will be emailed to you the morning of the event and replay will be sent out 1-3 days after the event.
