This is a CIC specific session for anyone new to funding applications or who would like to improve the quality of their bid writing.
About this Event

This event is designed to provide you with a range of tips, resources and tools to find the funding you need for your CIC. It will also cover the importance of income diversification to ensure your CIC is sustainable, resilient and can generate income from a variety of sources.

The session covers:

· Building a case for support – Identifying what need your organisation addresses, why it’s important and how you meet that need.

· Considering some of the ways in which you can involve the people and communities you work with in identifying/addressing that need.

· Developing a SMART bid narrative that includes outcomes, outputs and impact.

· Identifying how to build monitoring and evaluation into your proposal.

· Discussing ways to maximise the sustainability of your organisation.

This course is aimed at individuals who are looking to identify funders for their CIC and to develop the skills required to write well-structured and persuasive funding bids for the people, places and causes that they are passionate about.
