Arrive for check in between 8:30-8:45 a.m. “Get Yer Goat” is a full day of classes for both novice and experienced goat owners. A lunch is included with the event fee both vegetarian and meat options are available. This event is a collaborative effort between OSU Extension Small Farms and the Rogue Valley Dairy Goat Association. Classes currently scheduled are Feeding Your Goat, Introduction to Leather & Fur On Hide Tanning, Pack Goats, Butchering Basics, Goat Soap Making, Metabolic Disease, Goat Milk Cheeses, Parasite Management FAMACHA, and Artificial Insemination.
Cost: $35 Adults $20 youth
