Independent Sheffield music festival Get Together has shared the full line up for the sixth edition of the all-day event taking place on Saturday 16th May. Over 70 artists are set to perform at a newly extended range of venues across Kelham Island and Neepsend after the success of last year’s fifth anniversary edition.
Previously announced co-headliners Fat Dog, whose formidable electro-punk live show and highly anticipated debut album WOOF. got them named as one of DIY Magazine’s Class of 2024, gothic garage rock icons The Horrors; who returned this year with their sixth album Night Life and late-night headliner legendary electroclash DJ Erol Alkan will be joined in Sheffield by the likes of Welsh-Cornish indie-pop artist Gwenno, Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, and the playful yet provocative performer Lynks who returns after taking the very first Get Together by storm as well as a whole raft of exciting new acts and artists including current BBC 6 music mainstays Lauren Auder and SILVERWINGKILLER.
Also announced today are Stealing Sheep, 1000 Rabbits, Aimée Fatale, Alice Costelloe, Any Young Mechanic, Babyrat, Book of Churches, Bored Marsh, City Parking, Crimewave, Formal Sppeedwear, Monks, Neighbourhood Voices, Pys Melyn, Sell Everything, Tidetied, TV For Cats and Voka Gentle.
Since its inception, Get Together has become a key part of Sheffield’s music scene through a truly innovative approach of developing, celebrating and showcasing forward-thinking creativity, emerging musical talent and internationally established acts side by side. Following on from the fifth anniversary edition, Get Together 2026 will feature a series of expansions and enhancements. By introducing four new indoor and outdoor stages, new venues and more spaces across Kelham Island and Neepsend, this year’s all-day festival will feature a higher capacity, earlier performance start times and less clashes throughout the event in order to make the day more comfortable.
This year sees Get Together expand its late-night programming too with Into The Night; which will see Erol Alkan joined by Manchester-based sound artist Tom Sharkett as well as a host of curated DJs and parties taking place across multiple festival venues late into the night.
Entirely new to Get Together 2026 is Curious Thoughts, a space dedicated to letting the mind meander with a series of fascinating creative talks, conversations and art installations featuring a pop-up bookshop from Real Magic Books, a poster exhibition courtesy of renowned Sheffield artist and illustrator Tom J Newell & Friends and a chill out space with its very own Curious Cocktail bar.
Started in 2023, the Get Together Artist in Residence programme has welcomed Sheffield artists Corbin Shaw and Conor Rogers with 2025 playing host to renowned photomontage artist Cold War Steve, who invited the people of Sheffield to collaborate on a large-scale mural that celebrated the very best of the city. This year’s Artist in Residence is Welsh psychedelic artist Pete Fowler, the man behind era-defining artwork for the likes of Super Furry Animals and The Horrors, who will be filling the festival with brand new work produced especially for Get Together.
In addition to multiple stages of live music, late-night DJ sets and creative spaces; the all-day event will bring together the very best independent and artisanal food and drink, with a Food Village especially curated by Peddler, while Kelham Island Brewery will welcome some of the best beer makers in the country for another edition of The Beer Mile.
