The Marketing Academy Foundation’s BeTheOne Bootcamp is a free, one-day workshop designed to boost your employability, in partnership with the marketing team at On The Beach.
About On The Beach 🌴
On The Beach is online holiday company and a bunch of travel nerds who just love that “out of office” feeling, whether that’s sand between your toes, a rooftop cocktail in the city, or getting lost down a cobbled street somewhere new.
And when it comes to getting people there, they don’t exactly keep a low profile. In fact, they're probably responsible for one of the UK’s most complained about TV adverts and frankly, they're taking that as a compliment… who doesn’t love a Christmas banger in the middle of July? With a social feed that moves faster than you can say “booked it” and the kind of PR reactivity that gives Aldi a serious run for its money, they create award winning campaigns that prove they just get it. They know what matters to their customers on holiday and we make sure it shows up everywhere.
At the bootcamp, you’ll spend the day at their head office, meeting the marketing team and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how campaigns are planned, created, and executed. It’s a unique opportunity to see marketing in action and understand what makes campaigns stand out.

👥 Who’s It For?
Young people aged 18–30 from low-income backgrounds who want to break into the marketing industry.
⚠️ If you’ve attended a Russell Group university, you won’t be eligible for this session but we’ve got other resources for you on our website.
