Ready to get back into crochet? The hands remember even if the brain forgot!
Crochet is practical, sustainable and creative, as well as calming and helpful for self-regulation.
In this 2-hour class, you’ll renew your love of this classic fiber art by making a few simple granny squares. We’ll go over how to choose yarn for your projects and how to pick the right size hook. We’ll reacquaint your hands with how to hold the hook and yarn for sustainable long-term comfort. You’ll remember how stitches are formed and how to change color.
This class is NOT for the beginner who has never tried crochet.
Bring yarn (at least two compatible colors) and hooks, scissors and stitch markers, and pen and paper for notetaking.
If you have a pattern you want to try, bring it to get your questions answered.
A handout will be provided so you can remember all this when you get home :-D
