Raising children to be bilingual can be difficult; without a group of bilingual peers, children may find the second language frustrating. These one-hour monthly sessions are designed for children ages 0 to 7 with at least one German-speaking parent or household member. Our semi-structured, play-based, casual monthly meet-ups are meant to provide supplemental content and a comfortable environment for additional language exposure. We encourage the exclusive use of German when possible and invite parents to participate by reading or sharing a story and singing along. At each session, children will also be encouraged to participate in a show-and-tell to the best of their ability or with help from their caregiver. Please bring a toy or book that they may like to share with the group.
