MORE ABOUT TERRY WHITE:
Terry White's career as a musician can be traced back to his childhood in Oak Park, IL, just outside of Chicago, where he began teaching himself guitar as a teen but really took root in Carbondale, IL, where he attended SIU and formed Modern Day Saints with Phil Bayer, Kevin James and later Rob Pierce. The band moved to Los Angeles in 1989 where they enjoyed a rabid LA following as regulars on the legendary Sunset Strip. After a long residency at the Whisky-a-Go-Go, Modern Day Saints broke up in 1992 and Terry formed several other bands over the years, including Cannonball, The Yellowhammers and The Zimmermen. He released in first solo record, Our Sperate Ways in 2007 followed by Cannonball Fodder in 2012, California Rain in 2016 and Still Got Me in 2020. His latest release, You Won’t Have a Name was released in September 2025. As the Chicago Tribune has said, “Terry’s songs are as gorgeous as they are haunting”.
MORE ON THE DOWD:
Boston-raised, Chicago-braised drummer/singer/ songwriter Gerald Dowd has been described as “the hardest working drummer in Chicago” (Richard Milne, WXRT), playing on over 100 albums, and averaging 150 live dates a year around the world. He has spent the last 30+ years playing drums for Grammy-nominated artists Robbie Fulks and Justin Roberts, Nora O'Connor, Chris Mills, and in that time has also played and/or recorded with Eddie Vedder, Mavis Staples, David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos, and A Prairie Home Companion, among many others. In recent years, Mr. Dowd has been releasing his own solo records, consisting of original Americana/roots-based music described as "hook-heavy, cleverly crafted" (No Depression) with songs "that reflect(s) the warmer, earlier period of The Band." (Chicago Sun-Times)
With his 4th solo release of sturdy and original Americana, "Father's Day", he continues to share stages with Jeff Tweedy, Ian Hunter, Nellie McKay, Delbert McClinton, Kasey Chambers and many more. The album -- featuring performances from Nora O'Connor (Decemberists, Iron And Wine, Andrew Bird), Robbie Gjersoe (The Flatlanders, Jimmy Dale Gilmore, The Greencards) and pedal steel legend Lloyd Maines -- has been all over the Americana charts Top 100.
