Join us as we bring together our current cohort, or alumni, our Enterprises-in-Residence past and present and our community for three days of learning and networking.
From Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th, we'll be inviting our community to join us at our Geovation Scotland hub at Meadowbank House. The best kind of startup magic happens from the conversations you least expect, and we want to channel that into this Community Week.
In addition to netowrking with fellow founders, we will also be bringing in experts from the support ecosystem, ranging from legal support, to cash flow management.
On Thursday 26th February, we welcome Cathy Higginson, founder of Simple Figures. Cathy Higginson is a CFO Advisor who works with founders and owner-managed businesses to help them understand their numbers and use them to make better business decisions.
In this interactive session, Cathy will cover the practical finance foundations every start-up needs, from cash flow and costs to pricing and key performance metrics. She’ll also explain how financial priorities change as a business develops and when it makes sense to seek support, helping founders feel more confident about money from the start.
Cathy will also be around for the afternoon and available for office hours with any founder or cofounders who would like time with her 121 to talk through specifics of their business.
Tea and coffee will be avialble in the morning, and lunch will be provided.
