Are you involved in community climate action and looking to feel more confident about fundraising? ECCAN is running two practical, supportive workshops designed to help groups build strong funding foundations and develop longer-term fundraising strategies.
You’re welcome to attend either workshop on its own, or both together, depending on your experience and needs.
Workshop 1: Building Strong Foundations
📅 Wednesday 26 February · 10:30–14:30
📍 ELREC Boardroom
This introductory workshop is ideal if you’re newer to fundraising or want to strengthen your approach. We’ll explore where funding comes from, how to choose the right income streams, and what funders are really looking for.
You’ll leave with:
- A clearer understanding of the funding landscape
- More confidence choosing suitable income streams
- Practical guidance on writing stronger funding applications
- Time to start shaping your own case for support
Workshop 2: Developing Fundraising Strategies
📅 Wednesday 11 March · 10:30–14:30
📍 Deaf Action
This workshop is for groups ready to take a more strategic view of fundraising and sustainability. We’ll focus on planning ahead, communicating impact, and building strong relationships with funders. Attending Workshop 1 is helpful but not required.
You’ll leave with:
- A clearer sense of your fundraising priorities
- Tools for measuring and communicating impact
- Ideas for diversifying income
- The beginnings of a 6–12 month fundraising plan
Ticket options
- Workshop 1 only
- Workshop 2 only
- Both workshops
