About this Event
About the book
Best friends Carter, Naya and Greta all want the same thing – to become Australia's most successful TV presenter - but they couldn't be more different.
Carter is beautiful and bold, grabbing the spotlight with both hands. Naya is diligent and cautious, balancing ambition with loyalty. Greta is impulsive and driven, never afraid to speak her mind.
As each woman juggles workplace pressures, romantic entanglements and family dramas, they soon learn that climbing the greasy pole of television news demands more than talent - it expects sacrifice. But how much of themselves, and each other, are they willing to betray for the top job?
Take the ambitious competitiveness of The Devil Wears Prada, mix it with the complex female friendships of Big Little Lies and throw in the high-stakes drama of The Morning Show, and the result is Georgie Tunny's gripping debut.
