About this Event
Join us for the ME2110 Competition on Friday, April 17, 2026.
The theme of this competition is Super Mario Galaxy..
With the galaxy in peril, Princess Rosalina has entrusted ME2110 students to build robots worthy of the Lumas’ hope - and they’re ready to prove themselves. These mechatronic systems will deliver Mario to infiltrate Bowser's castle, feed Lumas, defeat Koopas, and save the galaxy (sometimes) by stabilizing Bowser’s Galaxy Reactor in a dynamic and entertaining challenge arena.
The design review will be held in the first and second floor Love Atrium (Love Manufacturing Bldg (MRDC II), 771 Ferst Dr, Atlanta, GA 30313). The final competition will be held in the GTMI (Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute) Building Atrium, 813 Ferst Drive, N.W., Atlanta, GA 30332.
Event Schedule
4:30 p.m. - Judges' Briefing, Love Building
5:00 p.m. - Design Review/Judging begins
6:00 p.m. - Judging ends and all teams move to the GTMI Building

The competition will start with an in-person design review event, where students will present their designs to a panel of rotating judges. This will be followed by a competition in which 70 teams will deploy their automated systems to perform tasks, score points, and save the galaxy from Bowser and his minions!
If you have industry or academic work experience then we would be thrilled to have you judge student teams. Judges and sponsors may use Georgia Tech's visitor parking. The closest visitor lot is Visitor Lt 4 (State St. & Ferst Dr. ).
