Winner of ‘UK Jazz Act of The Year’ and ‘Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2022 Jazz FM awards, Georgia Cécile is at the helm of the new wave of UK jazz crossover artists.
Her sound has been described as having retro jazz, soul and r&b influences; She perfectly mixes classic songwriting with contemporary production and modern vitality - keeping storytelling and impeccable vocals at the forefront. Following the release of her debut, Cécile supported Gregory Porter on tour, performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra and showcased at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Championed by Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2, Cécile continues to make her mark as one of the finest new voices in the UK, with the Guardian naming her as one of six UK artists to watch this year. Her 2023 spring tour included sell-out shows at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s London, Blue Note Milan, Duc De Lombards Paris and Birmingham Symphony Hall.

Arnie Somogyi - Double Bass
Bassist Arnie Somogyi is well-known to jazz audiences through his work with some of the stars of the British and international scene. A band leader in his own right he has performed frequently at world-famous jazz club, Ronnie Scott’s and at festivals throughout the world with major artists including the Mingus Big Band, Bobby Hutcherson, Art Farmer, James Moody, Seamus Blake and Annie Ross, as well as international stars Tom Jones, Charlie Watts and Amy Winehouse and British Jazz legends such as Stan Tracey and Kenny Wheeler
His music has featured on radio, television and in films and he has been nominated for both BBC Radio 3 and Parliamentary Jazz Awards and released 4 critically acclaimed albums as a leader.
Pianist - Fraser Urquhart
Born and raised in Edinburgh, Fraser Urquhart is one of the U.K's foremost pianists now based in London, Fraser made his Ronnie Scott's debut in February 2023 and his Pizza Express Jazz Club debut in August 2023. He performs weekly at the best music/hospitality venues in and around the city, most at home accompanying singers. His most recent album release is a collection of duets with jazz FM vocalist of the year Georgia Cecile.
Ian Thomas on Drums
Over his career Ian Thomas has worked in almost every musical style playing everywhere from basement jazz clubs to Madison Square Garden and has recorded with some of the most successful artists in the world. He has played with a huge range of big name artists from Shirley Bassey Goergie Fame Jamie Cullum, Incognito thru to Count Bassie Orchestra to Ronnie Scotts All Stars!!!
