The Delaware Seaside Railroad Club is pleased to announce the schedule for the Holiday Model Train Display at the Georgetown Public Library in Georgetown, Delaware. This event is co-sponsored by the Georgetown Library and the Delaware Seaside Railroad Club and this year marks the 13th Annual Edition of this popular event for kids of all ages. This year's display includes the 8' x 28' O-Gauge modular layout outfitted with new accessory and industrial themed dioramas. The dioramas are interactive in which the accessories are activated by push buttons making it a fun-filled experience for young children. Also included is a 6' x 12' S-Gauge layout that depicts historical industries, regional landmarks, and town scenes in the Delaware Beach Region. A hands-on Thomas the Tank Engine layout by Brio and a coloring station setup by the Library is always a highlight for the younger children. The display is located on the second floor of the Library and is accessible by elevator. Admission is free of charge.
