About this Event
Delaware is in a period of rapid population growth. Delaware ranked the sixth fastest growing state nationwide and the fastest growing in the Northeast corridor last year. This brings great challenges to the state’s land use process.
At this Spotlight Delaware event, reporters will moderate two panel discussions exploring how stakeholders can effectively engage in the land use process in the First State. Participants include state and county land use officials, developers, planners and community advocates.
"Navigating Growth" will be held in the Carter Partnership Center on Delaware Tech's Owen Campus in Georgetown.
Current panelists include:
- Brian DiSabitino, EDis Co. / Town of Whitehall
- Jill Hicks, Sussex Preservation Coalition
- Char Patibanda, Director of Land Use (New Castle County)
- Dale Swain, Residents Against Delaware's Arbitrary Rezoning
- More to be announced!
