Do you love the spookiness of Halloween? Are you a history buff and love local lore? Do you find yourself fascinated by macabre tales? Maybe you just love community and hanging out with neighbors for a seasonal event that’s like nothing else in the city. The Georgetown Haunted History tour is the event for you! Join us for the 21st year of this amazing guided, two-hour, immersive tour through the neighborhood. We'll visit local landmarks and witness true (and embellished) tales come to life via performance. Songs, poems, even a seance! You’ll visit the Steam Plant, the Georgetown Funeral Home (aka the Seattle Drum School) and more.
Costumes celebrated, comfy walking shoes, and weather-appropriate outerwear highly recommended. This is a rain or shine event and includes about a mile of walking.
This event always sells out. Don’t miss the experience! This event is produced by Friends of Georgetown History, dedicated to celebrating the neighborhood of Georgetown’s many contributions to Seattle’s early years.
