Michael Grillo is a dedicated Living Historian who specializes in portraying George Washington in curated period appropriate clothing. He has portrayed Washington at the Battle of Monmouth and other prestigious historical sites and events. After his presentation, Washington (Grillo) will take questions from the audience.
This program was funded by a grant from the New Jersey State Library’s REV 250: Examining the Semiquincentennial through a Jersey Lens — an opportunity for public libraries to celebrate New Jersey’s contributions and place in history.
