This interactive trail honors the legacy of George and Sarah Gammon and highlights the powerful history of the Underground Railroad in Springfield, Ohio. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the grounds, engage with living history, and learn more about the courageous individuals connected to this important story of freedom and resilience.Returning visitors will notice exciting new additions to the trail experience including permanent sign markers, enhanced landscaping, and historical reenactors portraying members of the Gammon family. The Discovery Trail is proudly sponsored by The Hank Jud Memorial Fund and Clark County Convention Facilities Authority. This event is free and open to the public.
