Meet up in front of the taproom and follow along in your own vehicle for a guided geology field trip! This event is free and all ages, walking distance will be approximately .25 miles.We will drive to some rock outcrops that demonstrate the features that James Hutton observed when he helped to set down the principles for geology as a science of its own, and discuss how these features were formed, and what you can determine by observing layers of strata.
Field trip will end back at the taproom if anyone wants to carpool, please be prepared to drive in your own vehicle and bring water!
