The Vancouver Mining Exploration Group (MEG) is pleased to present our final luncheon of the 2025–2026 season.

Join us for a technical presentation by Sean Tombe (New Gold) on the geology and mineralization of the K-Zone discovery at New Gold's New Afton Mine.

This case study will outline the geological setting, structural and lithological controls, alteration characteristics, and exploration approach that led to the discovery of the K-Zone, with practical insights applicable to brownfields exploration in porphyry copper–gold systems.
