In 2001 Peter Rose became the Editor of Australian Book Review. Previously he was a publisher at Oxford University Press. He has published several books of poetry, an award-winning family memoir, Rose Boys, and two novels, the most recent being Roddy Parr (Fourth Estate, 2010). His latest poetry collections are Rag (Gazebo Books, 2023) and Attention, Please! (Pitt Street Poetry, 2025). His extensive criticism appears in a variety of publications. Rose writes and performs short absurdist plays with The Highly Strung Players.
John Foulcher has written twelve books of poetry, the most recent being Dancing with Stephen Hawking (Pitt Street Poetry 2021). His work has appeared in Australian magazines and anthologies over nearly forty years, and he has won or been short-listed for many awards, including the National Library Poetry Prize, the Newcastle Poetry Prize, the ACU Poetry Prize, the Peter Porter Poetry Prize, the Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize and the Montreal International Poetry Prize.
