Slow-paced stretches, breathwork, rest and meditation. Chair options for part or all of
the class.
Jaeda’s slow-paced class includes centering, work with the breath, mindful movement, rest, and meditation. Students have the option to be seated in chairs for part or all of the practice and are encouraged to use props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps.
Jaeda offers multiple options for each pose to support students to find the optimal practice for their bodies as they are.Recognizing that many people may feel that “yoga is not for them” due to body type, age, class, disability, race, gender, or other identities, Jaeda is actively building her skills to increase accessibility to the teachings and practices of yoga. She is also exploring how our yoga practice can serve us not only individually, but collectively. Jaeda looks forward to continued learning, including learning from missteps, on a path to foster collective care and greater inclusion in the practice of yoga.
