Restore balance in your life with Gentle Yoga. Join your friends and neighbors each Tuesday evening at 1025 3 Mile Road, NE (St. Andrew's Church). In this class we will gently warm and open the body and settle the mind. We will focus on safe alignment and mindfulness of the breath while linking it to movement. We also will practice restorative poses. It is a class that is good for the body, mind, and spirit. This class is donation-based, with a suggested donation of $5-$10 per class. The class is taught by RYT 200 certified yoga instructor Jeff Brown. Come as you are, with clothing that is easy to move in. Class will take place in the narthex, just outside the sanctuary. Please enter through the office entrance door on the northeast end of the church, near the playground, during the colder months.
Class does not require registration in advance, but registration is required when you arrive for your first class, so plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early.
Participants are expected to work within their limits and to be mindful of cues and modifications provided by the instructor. Students should bring their own yoga mat, water, and any desired props, such as a block or strap.
