Genesys is an alternate format of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that was launched on September 22, 2025.
There is no Forbidden & Limited List.
All Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards are allowed, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters.
The original field layout is used, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones.
Deck Construction uses a point system. Cards are assigned a point value from 0 to 100, with most cards having no cost. The total point cost of cards in the Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck cannot exceed the standard point cap of 100 for the tournament.
