Generative AI is becoming part of everyday life, sometimes without us being aware of it. This tech talk looks at how these tools are being used in simple, practical ways, and how they can be helpful without becoming confusing or overwhelming. We’ll talk about the different kinds of things generative AI can do, as well as the limitations.
We’ll also explore how to recognise when something has been created by AI, how to spot common mistakes or misleading information, and how to stay thoughtful and confident when using or encountering AI generated content. The focus is on using common sense, asking good questions, and keeping human judgement at the centre. No technical background required, just curiosity about navigating in an AI world.
