Our newest exhibit coming to the museum is called Generations.It is three generations of Eureka Springs Artist.
The oldest generation is Hal Mallett. How was a minister here in Eureka Springs. He was good friends with Louis and Elsie Freund. Many of his paintings are plein air paintings. He would set up in a field or roadside and paint what he saw.
Hal’s daughter, Sara is an accomplished artist. She also taught Art.
Sara’s Husband Terry Russell is a well-known local Potter. Terry was also the art instructor for Eureka Springs public school.
Their daughter, Jessica, combines both painting and Pottery in her repertoire. Jessica also taught Art here in Eureka Springs.
We are pleased to be bringing this much talent together in one place!
