Wild Eye Pub is excited to host top-charting dub vocalist General Smiley and roots rock gypsy band Planet Jam to play a rocking Halloween Harvest Party with world rock fusion & Reggae!General Smiley began his career in the late 70s at Studio One under the direction of the late Sir Coxsone Dodd. He recorded his first number 1 hit Rub A Dub Style, followed by the equally popular Nice Up The Dance as one half of The Duo Papa Michigan and General Smiley. The duo then recorded at Tuff Gong Studio the classic One Love Jamdown.
He joins international fusion band Planet Jam - a gypsy reggae band playing multi-lingual, cultural immersion world music! They have collaborated with: General Smiley, Aminah Chishti, Arjun Baba, Hugo Brown, Generale Tchefari and many more artists of many backgrounds.
For this special show, they'll feature Bassy Kacy - bass & vox, Marius Guitarius - guitar & vox, Ty Smith - drums, and Stephan 'Ghost' Este - keys. Planet Jam is an evolving fusion of Eastern and Western music and culture, with rippin' rock solos, poppin' Reggae rhythms and fresh Gypsy licks, dubby and tight, modern with ancient tap roots.

Sliding scale tickets for this event are $14-30* per person. Note: Their shows usually sell out in advance. Plan ahead!
Tickets *start at $14, but, consider adding a few extra bucks. This helps the Pub feed and pay the artists better, and helps us cover venue costs for bringing a rich diversity of arts and cultural events to our community. Thank you for supporting live performers. xo

Family-friendly venue, with a restaurant & bar: farm-to-table foods from local & organic sources, a full bar of regional brews, wines, spirits & mocktails, and nightly entertainment in a comfy 'supper club' setting with an easy vibe.
For this event, seating & service starts at 6pm, music at 7pm. We offer table service of food/drinks before & during event, in a comfy listening space.
IMPORTANT: We *really* appreciate reservations, to help us plan for each show. For busy dinner shows, reserved guests get priority seating & table service. Easily make reservations - just seats, or seats & table for dining - by while buying your tickets, or by calling or emailing, 24/7. Your table will have your name on it.
PARKING: Pub has free parking. More parking is nearby at the corner of Mill & McCourtney, a 2-minute walk. Across from Pub, French Ave has parking. Carpooling is encouraged - our neighbors appreciate it.
