The Orange County Progressive Caucus invites you to our March Monthly Meeting.Join us on Monday, March 16th at 6:30 PM for an inspiring conversation with Hedder Pierre Joseph, candidate for Orange County Commission, District 6.
Hedder Pierre Joseph believes that true leadership begins with service. Born in Nassau, Bahamas to Haitian immigrant parents, her journey is rooted in resilience, faith, and a deep commitment to community. After the loss of her mother, she arrived in South Florida at a young age as an undocumented child and later became a legal resident in 1994. She has proudly called Orange County home since 2003.
Hedder is a mother, educator, business owner, youth mentor, advocate, and real estate professional, as well as an active member of New Covenant Baptist Church. Her life’s work has centered on uplifting others, especially those too often left out of decision-making spaces.
As a longtime community servant, Hedder is passionate about immigration justice, small business development, sustainable and affordable housing, youth and young adults, and expanding access for people with disabilities. She is running for County Commission to ensure government works with the community, not above it, and to give voice to those who are too often unheard.
Hedder is committed to pushing for progress and building an Orange County where every family has the opportunity to thrive.
