About this Event
The Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Conundrum is a dynamic, hands-on workshop designed to help teams explore one of today’s most transformative technologies, in a way that is playful, accessible, and deeply insightful.
Over the course of two hours, participants will:
- Understand how GenAI works: Learn the foundations behind generative models and uncover the invisible processes that power them.
- Identify risks and challenges: Explore the ethical, environmental, and societal risks inherent to AI systems.
- Discover best practices for responsible use: Learn concrete, actionable recommendations
The workshop uses a cardbased, collaborative game format that breaks down complex topics into simple knowledge units.
Participants work together to reconstruct a visual map that represents their collective understanding of GenAI, its mechanics, risks, and implications.
This approach fosters interaction, critical thinking, and shared learning.
The workshop is structured into 3 parts:
1. Understand: Break down how generative AI models function
2. Identify: explore the risks associated
3. Act: Discover recommended best practices
It is a collective Learning Experience: Participants gather around the (digital) table, standing and engaging actively:
- They receive the cards in small batches
- Read the information aloud
- Discuss and interpret the concepts together
The facilitator guides the group, asks thoughtprovoking questions, encourages debate, and helps participants articulate insights, emotions, and reflections.
A Workshop created by Institut for Sustainable IT Switzerland and Bureau de la Transformation-UNIGE. Facilitated on a volunteer basis by Marie Queneuille, Founder and Managing Director of CHANGESthatMATTER.
The 10€ fees is dedicated to cover for the room costs.
