Welcome to GEN Christmas for a Cause!
Get ready to spread some holiday cheer and make a difference in our community. Join us on Tuesday Dec 03 2024 at 10:00 AM at Level 1, Perth BHP Building for a morning of giving back. Let's flex BHP's collective muscle to bring in donations for those in need.
We'll have sorting and packing activities, festive food, music and speakers from 3 local charities. Christmas attire is welcomed, and there will be a prize for best dressed.
GEN has partnered with WA Charity Direct to make this event possible. The three charities we have chosen are:

- Carebags Care Bags - Care Bag, Charity, Charities to Donate To
Tickets to the event are free- we just ask that you bring a chocolate stocking with you, and donate an item (or a few!).
Anyone can donate an item whether they attend the event or not.
If you can't make the event, you can also make a donation via eventbrite and we'll do the shopping for you- just buy a donation ticket rather than an event ticket.
You can even make a donation via eventbrite and get a ticket to the event- just register for two types of tickets!
Brand new items needed are (for both genders):
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Toothbrush and Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Period products
- Pencil Case (primary school)
- Excerise Books
- Ruler
- HB Pencils
- Pens
- Baby bottles and teats
- Nappies (single use only, any size)
- Formula (with 6 month + expiry)
- Wet wipes
Drop off is available every day between 25th Nov- 2 Dec on levels 22, 27, 33 and 42 in the signposted boxes in the kitchen areas.
You can drop off bulkier items every day at the Property and Workplace help desk on level 33 (not the IT help desk). Thanks to P&W for their support.
