Wanxu Zhao and Wanchen Zhao moved from China in 2019 and have been living, studying and performing in Copenhagen ever since.
Beyond their work and studies in Copenhagen they have performed at Berliner Philharmonie, New York Carnegie Hall, Vienna Musikverein and many more prominent venues.
Gemini Duo will be performing acoustically in the brewery itself, between the tanks.
They are celebrating the release of their debut album, Morning Echoes.
The album reflects five years of artistic exploration and growth, tracing the Duo’s path from China to Denmark.
The program features arrangements of Grieg, Borodin, Boëllmann, and Piazzolla, alongside contemporary adaptations of Chinese folk music, creating a rich tapestry that connects different musical worlds.
Gemini Duo adds a whole new dimension to the chamber music genre, emphasising the fact that they convey large orchestral transcriptions as well as complex new music - without sheet music and with a communication between them that is almost only possible for twins.
