Gem-A Open Evening | July 2023

Have you always wanted to learn about gemmology but weren't sure where to start?

Gem-A is the oldest gem and jewellery educator in the world. We are based in London's historic jewellery quarter and, in July, we are opening our doors for you to come along, meet the team and try some gemmology for yourself.

One lucky attendee will also win up to 10% off their chosen course, so it's well worth a visit. We will select a registrant at random after the open evening and email them with the good news!

Drop in anytime between 16:00 and 19:00 - we will have activities running throughout the evening and plenty of staff on hand to answer your questions.

Here is what you can expect:

• • Get acquainted with gemstones and minerals, and look through the microscope
  • Partake in a 20 minute mini-class on coloured stones or diamonds Loupe and Lighting: A Gemmologists Best Friend , Are Diamonds Forever? and Diamonds: Colour grading 101 
  • Explore Europe's largest gemmological library
