This mixed media workshop is one part printmaking and one part collage. Participants will first learn techniques for create lavishly colored and textured paper by printing with acrylic paint on a Gelli Plate, which is essentially a gelatin slab. After producing a number of prints with a variety of colors, these beautiful handmade papers will then be cut and arranged into unique plant themed collages.

Students will learn a number of different techniques for "pulling" prints from a Gelli Plate as well as working with acrylic paint, Gelli Plates, brayers, stencils, and various collage making materials
