Monday, July 8, 10am–4:00pmThis course will teach you all about Gelli or Gel Plate printing, from the basics to more advanced techniques. If you’ve wanted to experiment with making your own collage papers, this is your chance. Or maybe you’re making Gelli/Gel prints and want some new techniques to get fabulous patterns, layers of color, and interesting textures on your prints. This workshop will go over the fundamentals but also teach you some more advanced techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints for collages, greeting cards, art journals, or backgrounds for other artwork. You will learn about using color, creating texture, making image transfers, using found objects, stencils, and natural and botanical materials.
Fee: $100. Bring your own supplies or pay $25 on day of workshop to have everything provided.
