Gearheart with Against The Sun, Death Will Bring Chage, The Stare and The Donners on Sunday, April 12 at The Wayfarer in Costa Mesa, CA!
Formed by Joey Chavez Ferguson with High School friends Pedro Galvez & Kevin Tran with Austin Myers joining in 2018. After their debut album Kick It into Gear released April 2015, they began to play everywhere they could in 2015, slowly building a small but loyal fanbase playing at venues like Chain Reaction & DiPiazza's. Signed to Independent Label Wright Records in Fall of 2015, their 2nd album Dreamin' was released on April 1st, 2016 to very positive reception due to the music expanding on their sound of straight up punk rock, incorporation of acoustics, harmonies, & craftier songwriting to push the limits even further. Their song Kansas Bound was even featured in Orange County Music League's Summer Sampler Compilation. After Parting ways with Wright Records in 2018, the band put out more music on their own with singles Be Here Tonight, Falling Stars & the E.P Scraps as well as playing as many shows as they could which began acquiring them local notoriety. In doing so, they established a monthly residency at a venue called "Perqs" in Huntington Beach, appeared on a KROQ Local's Only Session & put together their first tour ever in summer 2019. Their 3rd album Lobotomized was released in late 2020 to more high praise & positive reception. Fan favorites like Don't Call, Wildflower, Avenger & Rigor Mortis remain some of their most popular tracks. More single came from 2022 through 2024, including their cover of California Dreamin' which remains their most played song with over 35k plays on Spotify alone. 2025 will be a big year for the band. With a new album coming in January as well as a 2 leg U.S tour up the west coast and then inlad for a midwest run.
