About this Event
Join Bike New York's Gear Femmes Bike Club, our monthly group social ride for women and gender-expansive folks. We meet at our Education Center locations across the five boroughs to explore the city and practice essential street riding techniques in a safe and welcoming environment.
Rides are a relaxed 5–10 miles, perfect for beginner to intermediate riders. You'll be in great company with folks at a similar level, all supported by our friendly, League of American Bicyclist-certified instructors who are here to cheer you on.
Loaner bikes and helmets are available, or bring your own. Pre-requisite: Street Skills 302: On-Street Riding (or equivalent experience). You should be able to start, stop, and ride with control.
