We will be organising our GEA Cafe Concept Challenge 2026 at Hong Kong's Wanchai District, the city’s coolest, most dynamic areas, with a heady mix of old and new, and East meets West, and where hip bars and happening restaurants mix with old tenement buildings and hidden temples among the district’s towering skyscrapers, 15 Lung on street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong on the 8 February 2026, Sunday!Participants will get to run a full Cafe both in the front of house and back of house in a live environment, managing queues, taking orders, preparing and cooking meals based on their Cafe Concept.

Challenge Information
1)Form into teams of 6-8 members.
2)Prepare a set of slides with your Cafe Concept Proposal.
3)The proposal should include overall theme, menu, design of the F&B space, marketing, service style and cuisine.
4)Each team will have to create a full SOP to manage both the front of house and back of house which includes the preparing of a full meal at the Cafe.
5)Winning teams will receive an award, a token of appreciation and other F&B opportunities!
