About this Event

The Public Seminar series brings together members of the public, researchers and practitioners interested and engaged in urban health issues. The principal aim of the series is to provoke debate and constructive action, linking current best practice in urban development with emerging areas of health research.

Guest speakers will provide their initial answers to the question of how to work with nature, integrating green architecture into how we design buildings and urban neighbourhood. As usual, the public seminar then opens up for wider discussion and debate. Growing evidence supports the importance of the natural world for our own health and well-being.

Can this wealth of traditional and emerging knowledge help to reduce health inequalities in our modern world by embedding nature-centred design in the built environment?

Speakers to be announced shortly!
