About this Event
The GBWC is partnering with one of our newest coalition members, The Scenic River Land Trust, to host this event, part of Scenic Rivers' Healthy Forests Invasive Removal Program at the Bacon Ridge Natural Area.
Volunteers will be working on designated sections to remove specific invasive plant species.
Volunteers will be trained in how to identify and remove these plants.
Work gloves and tools will be provided by Scenic Rivers, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gear.
All volunteers must sign the following waiver prior to the event: GBWC Private Healthy Forests Workday
After the event, cool off and network indoors at a local brewery (TBD) beginning at 3:30 pm.
