Baba Yaga's Hut presents:Gazelle Twin at the ICA
British composer, producer and performer Elizabeth Bernholz developed Gazelle Twin in 2009, as the moniker under which she has since released six albums; Black Dog (2023, Invada Records), Deep England (2021) with NYX Choir, Pastoral (2018), Kingdom Come (2017), Unflesh (2014) and her debut, The Entire City (2011).
Her experimental electronic music is Influenced diversely; from classical, choral and sacred music, to pop, industrial, and EDM. Her compositions encompass euphoric and haunting choral landscapes, to intensely minimal, beat-driven pop songs.

"A series of funeral music spatialized in the convolution reverb of the King's Chamber of the Giza Pyramid. Deconstructing the work of poets Izz al-Din Manasirah & Sargon Boulus. On a site visit to the King’s chamber of the Giza pyramid, the impulse response was acquired and mapped onto sound effects, transposing the compositions within the spectral footprint of the chamber."
