Gays & Theys Mountain Days is a monthly community meetup created to help LGBTQIA+ folks connect with each other while exploring the outdoors. Every third Saturday of the month, we gather for a different outdoor adventure such as hiking, trail clean ups, ziplining, rock climbing, and other ways to get outside and enjoy nature together. Our FIRST HIKE WILL BE MOUNT CUTLER
Inside North Cheyenne Cañon Park
Distance: 2+ miles out and back (2 miles via Alltrails)
Difficulty: Moderate
Why it's great?
-One of the best overlooks of the entire city
-Classic Cheyenne Canyon pine forest hike
-Dramatic canyon views
We will meet at the trailhead at 11 am and then it is a "go at your own pace" styled hike. If you want to wear something colorful, bring any of our lgbtqia+ to wave at the top that would be highly encouraged! Social media tagging is encouraged when hiking!
Our goal is to build community, celebrate each other, and create welcoming spaces in the outdoors for people of all experience levels. Unless weather conditions are unsafe, we will plan to meet each month. If weather becomes an issue, updates or cancellations will be posted on the event page and our social media.
Come join us, bring a friend, and let’s explore the outdoors together.
