Please join us for the official opening of the exhibition by Gawler Mayor Karen Redmond.The Gawler Art Award is a bi-annual event, that has been held since 2002.
The 1st prize is kindly sponsored by the Town of Gawler each year it's held, in support of the arts and the community.
We are very pleased to be able to bring you nine, of the total of eleven winner's, artworks since the inception of the art award in 2002.
The 2020 Gawler At Award was cancelled due to Covid.
Sadly early on the prize was not acquisitive, hence a few paintings aren't available to be exhibited.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank The Town of Gawler, who have very kindly loaned the the artworks from their Gawler Heritage Collection, to the gallery for this exhibition.
