As the days grow shorter and the season of Thanksgiving approaches, we invite you to pause with friends old and new for a gathering of reflection, warmth, and light. This informal program will allow us to share stories and reflections on gratitude — what it means in our lives, in our faith traditions, and in our hopes for the year ahead.
This gathering will offer space for open-hearted conversation and connection. Together, we’ll reflect on the light that sustains us through challenging times and the blessings that connect our diverse faith communities.
You’re encouraged to bring a friend, and if you wish, a small donation of nonperishable food for local food banks as a sign of shared gratitude and care.
Let’s close the year in community — listening, sharing, and giving thanks together.
Ps 95:1-2 “O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”
Acts 2:46 “And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people.”
Quran Surah Al Ruqman 31:12 “…Anyone who is grateful does so to the profit of his own soul…”
