Yoga in itself is community. The practice of yoga helps us participate in life more fully by inviting presence into our lives and assessing how we show up in our shared world. Yoga and community cannot be separated.
Although yoga may be considered personal work, every practice and practitioner are a part of an interconnected network of like-minded beings, rooted in ancient wisdom, care, and sacred connection. The practice, whether done alone or in a room full of other people - fosters, supports, and most importantly, uplifts us all.
Gathering together in community strengthens our personal and collective well-being, reduces loneliness, and increases resilience through emotional support and a sense of belonging.
The collective energy of a shared yoga practice helps to support and enrich one another. Whether we move together on the same path for years, or roll out our mat next to each other for just one class, we add perspective and presence that helps all of us explore our unique journey. And through that journey, perhaps each of us comes to understand that while we may seem separate, we are in fact one.
Gather together on Thanksgiving morning with Logan and Longwave Yoga as we breathe, move, and flow as one. Let’s use this opportunity for an intentional community gathering to learn from one another, relate to each other, appreciate each other’s unique differences, and create and hold brave space for all beings.
