About this Event

Create your own wonderfully textured piece of hooped wall art in this beginner's punch needle class. Not only will you learn a new skill, you’ll also enjoy the wellbeing elements of this incredibly therapeutic and rhythmic craft.

No experience is necessary as Caroline will take you through each step of the process, from threading the needle, punching your stitches and finishing a piece you’ll be proud to display. There’ll be plenty of patterns to choose from, or if you’re feeling inspired, come with your own ideas! This class brings the traditional craft of punch needle right up to date.

Caroline is an experienced teacher who has been teaching punch needle for several years. She is the author of the book ‘Punch Needle: Colouring with Yarn’ and is an exhibiting artist.

She creates a wide range of fabulously bright and colourful punch needle pieces and is as passionate about the therapeutic process as the finished result. Caroline is also a freelance punch needle designer/maker for Hobbycraft, writing tutorials for the Ideas Hub on their website.
